Nice webcam for price, but base seems a little flimsy  |

The webcam has a low price which is great especially considering there are a lot of models around which are similar in specification, but a lot higher in cost. It is ideal for general internet usage, but not for any professional use. This is purely aimed at the home pc user. The only major problem was that I thought the base was a little flimsy at first, but after putting the webcam in position it seems to be fine and fairly stable now.

the quality is pretty good for the price, but 320x240 NOT 640x480 so this is misleading, however for normal home use it is fine. its very good with msn messenger as it intergrates fully, and is VERY EASY TO INSATLL, it took me about 5 mins to setup with windows xp.basicly this is ideal (very cheap) webcam for home use, but not for confrencing etc. one last note, this webcam does NOT HAVE A MICROPHONE built in so you will need to but one seperately if you want people to be alble to hear you.

Does a reasonable job for web conferencing (yahoo, MSN). recording videos I have found to be disappointing: terrible video lag so that your speech comes through a second or two before your lips move - quite unnerving!
I have used an old Logitech webcam from work on the same computer (<1 yr old with Win XP Pro & good Gfx Card) without this issue so Im fairly sure this is a problem with the creative cam and/or its software.One final complaint - it makes me look balder than I am in real life. ;-)
